Last month, the League of American Bicyclists, a nationally recognized bicycle advocacy organization, named Park City as a “Silver Level” Bicycle Friendly Community. The award is a step up from the Bronze Level designation that Park City received in 2009.

The BFC program provides a road map to building a Bicycle Friendly Community, and the application has become a rigorous and educational tool in itself. The platinum, gold, silver and bronze levels of the award provide a clear incentive for communities to continuously improve.
